The mission of the North Carolina Ultrasound Society Foundation is to provide educational opportunities in the field of diagnostic medical sonography to North Carolina sonographers and sonography students. The NCUS Foundation offers some financial assistance allowing recipients to attend NCUS professional education conferences who may otherwise not be able to attend. The foundation award program covers the cost of registration fees to the next annual NCUS Spring Conference. In addition, the recipient will be designated an active member of NCUS at no additional charge. NCUS membership fees will be waived for the calendar year in which it was awarded, ending December 31st. The recipient can then register for the Fall conference of the same year at the active member rates. Other travel expenses are the responsibility of the recipient.
The NCUS Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt non-profit organization as described in Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The NCUS Foundation grant is made possible by donations from NCUS members and the sonography community. Please consider making a donation to assist the Foundation’s mission and programs.
