Summer, 2010
Greetings to all new and returning NCUS members.

I would like to personally thank all of you who attended the 29th annual symposium in March at the Sheraton Imperial in Raleigh, NC.  Overall, the meeting was a success and the Board of Directors will be reviewing surveys and discussing your feedback and ideas at the upcoming June board meeting.

It is hard to believe that we are already half way through a new year (2010).  As we face new fiscal challenges as a society and as sonographers, I would like to challenge each and every one of you to be “active” in your society.  We should never forget that we are the largest and most active state ultrasound society in the nation and that this status cannot be maintained without your continued support and participation.

The planning for the fall 2010 meeting is underway. We will be at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill, October 30th, 2010. We are going to be having some great lectures. This will be the first fall meeting that will run an Echo lecture hall separately, so if you need “Echo” CME’s mark your calendars now and   check the website for registration information, updates and further details.

Again, thanks for your continued support and please do encourage your co-workers to join the society. Our success is dependent upon you and your peers.

Sincerely,

Alice Bradley, M.Ed, BHS,  RTR, RDMS
North Carolina Ultrasound Society President
