The North Carolina Ultrasound Society provides information and educational opportunities for sonographers in North Carolina and across the nation. NCUS hosts two CME meetings annually at various locations within the state. Through our site we keep you informed of our meetings and can help you find information about available on-line CME credits. Student members of the NCUS are provided several opportunities to participate in the NCUS through our Mentoring Program, Quiz Bowl and Scientific Exhibit Competitions.
NCUS publishes an informative on-line newsletter where members are welcome to contribute. Our redesigned web site makes it possible for members to communicate with one another and the new Forum feature coming in February will further enhance peer communication. We are dedicated to serving Sonographers in NC and beyond.
The mission of the North Carolina Ultrasound Society Foundation is to provide educational opportunities in the field of diagnostic medical sonography to North Carolina sonographers and sonography students. The NCUS Foundation offers some financial assistance allowing recipients to attend NCUS professional education conferences who may otherwise not be able to attend.
